Major Highlights of Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri
We can initiate Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri Trek during Autumn (September to November) and Spring (March to May) seasons. During this time, the sky is clear and the views are excellent. The weather is fit for trekking without rain. We can also enjoy green and lush vegetation on the lower regions of the trail particularly during the spring season.
Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri Trek is a moderate trek suitable for walkers who can walk up to 6-7 hours a day with a light rucksack. It is relatively easier to those experienced in high altitude. It is highly beneficial if we exercise and jog regularly to enhance our strength, stamina and stability. Past hiking experience would be an asset but no technical skill is required for this trip. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, blood diseases, and allergies should inform Pinnacle Expedition before booking the trek.
